To mark the birthday anniversary of our Co-founder for the year 2022, our volunteers were at Ndi Aku Community in Ohafia LGA of Abia State to reachout to the elderly persons in the community. This has been a yearly exercise since CFANJ International was formed. Our Co-founder, Mrs Esther A has always organized several outreaches in various locations to mark her birthday anniversary yearly. The choice of Ndi Aku Community was borne out of her the Foundation's determination in putting smiles on the faces of those at the rural communities. Special prayers were said for our Co-founder by the Traditional Ruler of the Community, Ezeogo Awa Lekwa Onwuka and the women of the community who recieved our 5k bag of rice each. The Elderly persons in Obokun North Local Government Area of Osun State today recieved some food items from CFANJ International. Today's Outreach for the Elderly ones is in line with our resolve to touch lives and to teach others the need and benefits of reaching out to others especially this festive period. Yesterday our team were in 3 Hospitals also in Osun State to visit the sick ones with prayers for their quick recoveries as well as presented gift items including the Holy Bible and sets of provisions with toiletries. During today's outreach, the elderly persons recieved food items such as rice, beans and other food condiments. Thanks to our team of volunteers in Osun State for devoting their time and energy to ensure that today's outreach was a success. We thank God for the success of our Medical Outreach in Bakana, Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State. It was in obedience to the word of God in Matthew 10:8, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying; give without pay”. It was really challenging as our Medical Team and Volunteers had to travel through the Water to get to the riverine area. The Medical Outreach which was held at the Model Primary HealthCare Center, Bakana saw the elderly persons and children from the area recieve free Medical Treatment/Drugs for their various health challenges. Our team also used the opportunity to pray for those at the health Center while reassuring them of the love of Christ for them even in their sick beds.
